Worship Services

Contemporary Worship Service

Sundays at 9:30 a.m.

Contemporary Worship is held in the fellowship hall and provides a relaxed atmosphere for worship. Yes, that means you can come in casual dress! Praise music and the observance of the Lord’s Supper are normal fare. Children are a welcome and integral part of the service. We provide rocking chairs in the back of the fellowship hall for parents to sit and rock with their child, as well as a nursery for children to age 3, and a worship and learning opportunity through Children’s Worship and Wonder for children ages 3 – 8.

We often stream this service live on Facebook!

Traditional Worship Service

Sundays at 11:00 a.m.

This service, held in the sanctuary, is a mix of hymns, an anthem by the choir, prayers, preaching and The Lord’s Supper.

For this service, casual dress is appropriate. We offer nursery for children up to age 5 for this service.

Sunday School

Sundays at 10:00 a.m.

Christian Education is an important part of Sunday for many people. With that in mind, we have developed Sunday School programs for adults, held at 10:00 a.m. on Sunday mornings and Christian Education for children, youth, and adults on Sunday evenings. For more information on our evening Christian Education for Children, please visit the Get Involved page.

We offer 3 adult Sunday School Classes:

  • The Friendship Class is a traditional Sunday School. They follow a standardized curriculum, based on the Revised Common Lectionary, called The Present Word.
  • The Bethany Class is more of a topic based class that changes between book studies, video studies, and intentional biblical studies.
  • The Stoners, who derive their name from one of the founders of the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ), Barton Stone, is a young adult class. This class is for college age adults through young parents and is also a topic based class.

Christian Education activities for children and youth are happening on Sunday evenings.

We hope you will join us for worship and Sunday School as well. Please contact the church office for more information.

Children Worship and Wonder

Children Worship and Wonder is a way of doing children’s church that is more than just crafts! It is an interactive worship experience for children ages 3-8, based on the Montessori style of teaching, that teaches the stories of the faith, as well as engages the children’s imaginations in understanding God.
